Benjamin Norton
CTO - Director of Operations West - Partner
Ben has over 15 years experience in computer engineering and software development. It is this experience that keeps Elektrik Avenue firmly planted on the edge of innovation.
His approach to information systems and guided processes helped develop an efficient operations model. He used this model to build (and later sell) a commercial landscaping company and international real estate company. With so many moving parts Elektrik Ave is lucky to have Ben keeping them fine tuned and within a working system.
When he his out of the office Ben’s likes hiking with his wife and two dogs.
Yohan Hazen
Creative Director
For over a decade Yohan has managed to execute and average of over 100 events annually. Having an agency background and a passion for fabrication, media, and carpentry, his unique skill set converges at the intersection of creativity and construction.
Over the years Yohan has managed projects on behalf of Amazon, Microsoft, AT&T, JP Morgan Chase, GE, Google, Citrix and Space X. His mantra is “Find your passion, leverage that passion to solve someones problem and your life’s work will be fulfilling and fruitful.”
During his downtime you can find Yohan woodworking, traveling or spending time with his daughter.
Nate Oyarce
Operations Manager East- DOP
Nates talents were quickly noticed at community event and he has been a part of the Elektrik Ave team ever since. His eye for video composition and ear for tonality have made him the face of Elektrik Ave media department.
Nate also manages a team of creatives and is the main POC on several projects annually.
When hes not shooting video or creating content Nate is tossing hay at the barn or spoiling his fur babies.
Michele Virnelson
Design Director
With a Bachelor in Fine Arts and Graphic Design from California State and experience in both print and digital media, Michele has developed the rare ability to create designs that consistently exceed a clients expectation. She is the gate keeper for our graphic designers and assigns the perfect team for each project. A dazzling designer, decisive delegator who demands the most from herself, Michele is a true pixel wizard.
She enjoys volunteering at the animal shelter growing new freckles and getting random tatoos.
Sean Woolley
Installation & Fabrication Manager
His attention to detail, management style and adherence to schedules has become instrumental in Elektrik Ave delivering quality work on time. Sean and Yohan have over a 15 year work history together. Storm swells draw Sean to the coast with his board in hand and of the weather is poor he’s likely working on a custom golf cart or motorcycle.
Justin Yeager
Graphic Design Manager & Installation Lead
Justin is 50% builder, 50% graphic designer and 100% awesome. He is result of a computer science degree and years of foreman experience on commercial construction sites.
The partners came across Justin on construction project and a chat about professional passion began. When the time came to launch Elektrik Ave Justin was the first with his hand raised. Due to his skills set Justin is often behind the screen and at the event site, so he sees a project from concept to creation.
Even at home Justin likes to create digital art, graphics and play with his kids.
